The short version: Krakiun Agent is built on a simple principle — your conversations, your API keys and your data belong to you. We do not collect, store or sell your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Krakiun Agent is a macOS application developed by Florentin Craciun. The app connects you directly to third-party AI providers using your own API keys.

All of the above is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your Mac, in the app's sandboxed data directory. We have no server-side access to it.
When you create a Krakiun account (optional, required only for the free DeepSeek tier), we store:

When you send a message, Krakiun Agent connects directly from your device to the AI provider you selected (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Mistral, Google, etc.). Your messages are sent to their servers under their respective privacy policies.

Krakiun Agent acts as a client only — we are not an intermediary and do not receive copies of your API requests or responses.
The app may fetch your approximate location (city and country) from ipapi.co to provide the AI with context about your timezone and location. This is done via a standard HTTP request using your IP address. No personal data is sent — only your IP, which is standard for any HTTP request. You can disable this in Settings.
Krakiun Agent uses Sentry for anonymous crash reporting. This helps us identify and fix bugs.

Sentry does not collect: your conversations, API keys, IP address, personal identity or any content you create in the app. User data collection and HTTP body transmission are explicitly disabled.

All communication between the app and AI providers uses HTTPS/TLS (standard encryption). The app does not implement proprietary encryption algorithms. Automation files (.krakiun) use ed25519 digital signatures for integrity verification — this is a standard algorithm (IETF RFC 8032) and is used for signing only, not for encrypting your data.
Krakiun Agent is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
